Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Hospitalist Needed in Illinois

We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician Assistant for an 84-day assignment in Illinois, starting Nov 17, 2023. This role involves 7 on, 7 off night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, working collaboratively with a physician hospitalist. Responsibilities include managing an average of 10-12 acute patients daily, performing hospital rounding, and conducting medical clearance and medication reconciliation for a behavioral health unit.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate closely with a physician hospitalist
• Provide medical clearance and medication reconciliation for a behavioral health unit
• Manage an average of 10 to 12 acute patients per day
• Perform hospital rounding
• Execute night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
• Experience with ICU rounding is preferred
