Locum Tenens Physician - Hospitalist Needed in North Dakota

We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician for a 14-day assignment in North Dakota, starting Dec 24, 2023. This role involves 24-hour inpatient hospitalist coverage with shift times from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM night call. The successful candidate will manage admissions, conduct rounds, and provide care for admitted hospital patients, including those in med/surg and ICU, as well as admit patients from the ER.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide coverage for all admissions
• Conduct rounds and provide care for admitted hospital patients, including med/surg and ICU (may consult for OB)
• Admit patients from the ER
• Cover patients admitted to the hospitalist services
• Ensure 24 hours/day inpatient hospitalist coverage

• Board Certifications: Hospital Medicine
• Other Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

• Staffing Mix: Support staff includes an FNP provider Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
