Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Internal Medicine Needed in California

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 40-day assignment in California. This role involves covering one to two outpatient primary care locations, working 10-hour shifts with flexible scheduling options (4x10s, 5x8s, or 3x10s), and providing comprehensive primary care services to an adult patient population.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cover 1-2 outpatient primary care locations
• Provide care for adult patients, primarily between 40-70 years of age, ranging from 23-100
• Manage a patient volume of 20-25 per day
• Deliver primary care services including cold and flu treatment, vaccinations, physicals, and management of conditions like diabetes and hypertension
• Communicate with a diverse patient population, approximately 60% of whom are Spanish speaking
