Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Internal Medicine Needed in Minnesota

Our client in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a minimum 90-day assignment, with potential for extension up to six months. This role offers a flexible 9a-5p schedule, typically working 3-4 days per week within inpatient nursing facilities. The successful candidate will manage patient rounding, charting, and comprehensive patient evaluations, providing essential care across various patient cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient rounding
• Accurately chart patient interactions and care plans
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations
• Manage patient admissions and discharges
• Provide diligent patient follow-up care
• Address acute patient visits
• Oversee patient medication management

• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: No call required
• Patient Volume: 15-18 patients per day
