Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician Assistant for a 120-day assignment in Tennessee, commencing May 7, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive home health visits within apartment-style subsidized housing, with shifts running 8a-5p. The position emphasizes both in-depth initial assessments and crucial follow-up/acute visits, alongside dedicated time for administrative tasks and documentation at the start of each day.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct home health visits within apartment-style subsidized housing, traveling to 1-2 apartment buildings daily (approx. 30-minute radius).
  • Perform 90-minute comprehensive anchor visits to establish full care plans.
  • Manage acute visits and follow-up appointments, typically in 30-minute blocks.
  • Dedicate the first hour of each day to administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Close charts within two business days.
  • Follow the no-show and outreach protocol: door knock, call patient, check common areas, coordinate with property staff, and review charts or attempt to see other patients if still unavailable.
