Locum Tenens Physician - Interventional Cardiologist Needed in Texas

Our client in Texas is seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for an 84-day assignment. This role involves a full-time schedule, Monday through Sunday for two weeks, with rotations through Cath Block, Consults, and CV ICU. The selected physician will provide comprehensive care in both General and Interventional Cardiology.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive care in both General and Interventional Cardiology.
• Rotate through Cath Block, Consults, and CV ICU services.
• Participate in Interventional Cardiology call, with assistance from General Cardiology for non-interventional call.
• Manage 2nd call responsibilities, supported by fellows taking first call.

• Board Certifications: Interventional Cardiology
• EMR: Cerner
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: Out of House Call; IC call 1:5, with General Cardiology assisting for non-interventional call; 2nd call for all cardiologists, 1st call by fellows.
• Patients per day: 10-14
• LOA: 84 Days
• Staffing Mix: 5 Interventional Cardiologists, Nursing staff, support from anesthesia, radiology, and nursing, 8 IC fellows.
