Job Description

Our client is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician for an 80-day assignment in South Carolina, starting Sep 7, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm, focusing on a mix of scheduled procedures and inpatient consults/procedures to manage acute and chronic pain conditions.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform interventional pain medicine procedures, including both scheduled procedural days (approximately 1.5-2 days per week) and inpatient consults/procedures.
  • Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation for patients of all ages suffering from acute and chronic pain or requiring palliative care.
  • Execute invasive pain medicine procedures that extend beyond basic pain management.
  • Assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients presenting with emergent conditions, in accordance with medical staff policy.
  • Provide care in intensive care settings as needed, adhering to unit policies.


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Pain Medicine is required.
  • The facility utilizes Meditech EHR.
