Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Neonatology Needed in Georgia

We are seeking a dedicated Neonatology Physician Assistant for an ongoing 50-day assignment with our client in Georgia. This role involves working a mix of 24-hour and 12-hour night shifts, aiming for 4-8 shifts per month. The selected candidate will provide critical care in a NICU, managing procedures such as intubations, UA/UV placements, and high-frequency oscillation, ensuring comprehensive patient support.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Working in a NICU, covering 12-hour night shifts and/or 24-hour shifts
• Comfort and experience with Level IV procedures including intubations, UA/UV placements, high frequency oscillation/vents, lumbar punctures, and arterial & venous blood drawing
• Managing patients within a 60-bed NICU environment

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
• Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: No call required
• Patients per day: 60 bed NICU split amongst team of NNPs and MDs
• LOA: 50 Days
• Staffing Mix: 3-4 Neo MDs, 3-4 NNPs, RNs, MAs, and all other subspecialists available at hospital as well for large children's hospital (Peds ER, CC, Surg, Neuro, GI, etc)
