Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist for a 30-day assignment with our client in California, commencing Sep 1, 2026. This role involves managing complex neonatal cases and providing essential care through day and night shifts, from 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am. The ideal Physician will provide expert medical care for critically ill neonates, performing a range of procedures and managing high-risk deliveries.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage PICC Lines
  • Perform intubations
  • Place UA/UV lines
  • Perform chest tube placements
  • Perform catheterizations
  • Conduct needle aspirations
  • Manage high-risk deliveries and c-sections
  • Address cleft palate and cleft lip cases
  • Manage complex birth defects
  • Treat respiratory conditions
  • Manage diaphragmatic hernias
  • Address genetic disorders and malformations
  • Oversee high-risk infant follow-up programs
  • Care for infants of diabetic mothers
  • Manage intestinal obstructions
  • Treat omphalocele
  • Care for premature infants
  • Address primary metabolic defects
  • Manage spinal cord defects
  • Implement therapeutic hypothermia programs for birth asphyxia
  • Perform tracheostomies
  • Provide ventilatory support
