Job Description

We are seeking a Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 91-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Dec 26, 2026. This role involves providing neuroscience ICU service at a trauma center, requiring the ability to perform ICU level care, including procedures like arterial and central line placement, lumbar punctures, and vent management. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) as part of an established clinical neuroscience team that provides 24/7 coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide neuroscience ICU service within a trauma center.
• Collaborate with a large dedicated Neurocritical Care team, including neurosurgeons, neurologists, neurointensivists, and advanced practice providers, who deliver 24/7 coverage.
• Perform ICU level care, including procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures, and vent management.
