Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Neurocritical Care Needed in NC

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Neurocritical Care Physician Assistant for a 91-day assignment in North Carolina, beginning Dec 26, 2026. This role involves providing critical care within a trauma center's Neuroscience ICU service, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) to ensure comprehensive 24/7 patient care. You will collaborate closely with an established team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, and advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive care within a Neuroscience ICU service in a trauma setting.
• Manage patients requiring ICU level care.
• Perform procedures including arterial lines, central lines, and lumbar punctures.
• Manage patient ventilation.
• Collaborate with an established clinical neuroscience team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, and advanced practice providers to ensure 24/7 coverage.
