Locum Tenens Physician - Neurological Surgeon Needed in MI

Job Description

Our client in Michigan is seeking a skilled Neurological Surgeon for a 30-day assignment. This Physician will manage 8a - 8a shifts, focusing on emergent call, emergent surgeries, and daily inpatient rounding. Responsibilities include utilizing on-site imaging, lab, procedure rooms, and OR facilities to provide comprehensive neurosurgical care alongside an established team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Utilize on-site imaging, lab, procedure rooms, and operating room facilities.
• Collaborate with existing neurosurgeons, ortho-spinal surgeons, and Neurosurgery APPs in the clinic setting.
• Perform emergent call duties.
• Conduct emergent surgeries.
• Complete daily inpatient rounding.
• Manage a variety of neurosurgical cases.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Neurological Surgery is required.
• EMR System: Cerner
• Setting: Inpatient and Clinic
• Call Schedule: Emergent call with 8a - 8a shifts.
• Staffing Mix: Work alongside one neurosurgeon, one ortho-spinal surgeon, and Neurosurgery APPs.
