Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Obstetrics/Gynecology Needed in California

Our client in CA is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Nurse Practitioner for a 70-day assignment. You will work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch break each day, focusing on comprehensive women's health services including well-woman exams, preventative gynecologic visits, contraceptive counseling, and minor in-office procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Annual well-woman exams
• Preventive gynecologic visits
• Breast health screening visits
• Menopause wellness visits
• Contraceptive counseling
• IUD insertion and removal
• Nexplanon insertion and removal
• Emergency contraception counseling
• Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Care
• Menstrual & Hormonal Concerns
• Endometrial biopsy
• Vulvar biopsy
• Removal of cervical polyps
• Bartholin cyst management (non-surgical)
• Incision & drainage of small abscesses

• Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• EMR: Epic
• Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS); Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patients per day: 18-20
• LOA: 70 Days
• Staffing Mix: Daily assigned MA or LVN
