Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Obstetrics/Gynecology Needed in CA

Job Description

Our client in California seeks an Obstetrics/Gynecology Nurse Practitioner for a 75-day assignment. This role involves seeing cases, including general GYN and OB, well-woman care, preventative services, fertility and family planning, and prenatal management. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage general bread and butter GYN and OB cases.
• Provide well-woman care, annual evaluations, and health screenings.
• Focus on preventative care, fertility, and family planning.
• Oversee prenatal management and care for chronic illnesses and diseases.

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patients per day: 18-20
• LOA: 75 Days
• Staffing Mix: Medical Assistants (MAs), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)
