Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in AK

Job Description

Our client in Alaska is seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for a 90-day assignment starting Jul 21, 2026. This role involves a comprehensive range of obstetric and gynecological duties, including various delivery types, amniocentesis, and managing both low and high-risk pregnancies, with schedule details to be determined.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform amniocentesis.
• Conduct routine deliveries, including vaginal and low forceps.
• Make critical decisions regarding c-sections.
• Manage complicated deliveries.
• Provide care for low-risk pregnancies.
• Oversee high-risk pregnancies.
• Interpret FHR (NST/CST/FSE).
• Perform and interpret OB Ultrasounds, including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) studies.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
• Experience with Athenahealth and Cerner EMR systems.
