Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Obstetrics/Gynecology Needed in CA

Job Description

Our client in California is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment starting Nov 16, 2026. This role focuses on comprehensive women's health, including annual well-woman exams, preventive gynecologic visits, breast health screenings, menopause wellness, and a range of contraceptive services. The ideal candidate will also manage Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) care, menstrual concerns, and perform minor in-office procedures such as biopsies.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Annual well-woman exams
• Preventive gynecologic visits
• Breast health screening visits
• Menopause wellness visits
• Contraceptive counseling
• IUD insertion and removal
• Nexplanon insertion and removal
• Emergency contraception counseling
• Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Care
• Menstrual & Hormonal Concerns
• Endometrial biopsy
• Vulvar biopsy
• Removal of cervical polyps
• Bartholin cyst management (non-surgical)
• Incision & drainage of small abscesses
