Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Arizona

Our client in Arizona seeks a skilled Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for a 120-day assignment. This role involves a flexible schedule, including weekly gynecology and obstetrics clinics, bi-monthly gynecology surgery days, and approximately 10-14 days of labor and delivery call per month. The selected physician will provide comprehensive OB/GYN services, including supervision of an incoming FPOB, with the OB services tailored around their availability.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervising an incoming FPOB upon their start in November
• Providing OB services, with scheduling built around the incoming locum
• Performing C-sections
• Delivering pre-natal care
• Managing labor and delivery cases
• Handling any and all complications
• Conducting screenings
• Providing reproductive health services

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• EMR: Meditech EHR
• Work Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Out of House Call, 10-14 days per month for L&D
• Patients Per Day: 70-120 deliveries per month; clinic volume is 10-20 patients
• LOA: 120 Days
• Staffing Mix: Support staff and will be supervising an FPOB in November until comfortable
