Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Arizona

Our client in Arizona is actively seeking a qualified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment, commencing Jan 1, 2027. This pivotal outpatient role involves delivering comprehensive OBGYN care within a clinic setting, with a consistent Monday through Friday 8am-5pm schedule, allowing for part-time availability throughout 2027.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage low risk pregnancies, including those with pre-existing conditions like history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, or hyperemesis.
• Oversee high risk pregnancies, including patients with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiac conditions, chronic lung problems, or chronic renal disease.
• Perform FHR Interpretation including NST/CST/FSE.
• Conduct Level 1/screening for viability.
• Perform routine deliveries, including vaginal and low forceps, and make decisions for C-sections.
• Handle complicated deliveries such as C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions.
• Perform VBACs.
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
• Conduct office/minor gynecology procedures including IUD insertions, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP.
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures.
• Maintain laser certification and perform associated procedures.
