Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in AZ

Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 2-day assignment in Arizona, commencing Jan 4, 2027. The schedule involves Monday through Friday shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on comprehensive outpatient OBGYN clinic duties.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform outpatient OBGYN clinic duties.
• Manage low risk pregnancies, including those with pre-existing problems, history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, or hyperemesis.
• Manage high risk pregnancies, including those with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiac conditions, chronic lung problems, or chronic renal disease.
• Interpret FHR, including NST, CST, and FSE.
• Perform Level 1/screening ultrasounds for viability.
• Conduct routine deliveries, including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for c-sections.
• Manage complicated deliveries, including c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions.
• Perform VBAC procedures.
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
• Execute office/minor gynecology procedures such as IUD insertions, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP.
• Perform surgical gynecology.
• Maintain laser certification.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• The work setting is outpatient.
