Job Description

Our client in California is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 60-day assignment starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves Monday through Friday clinic hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., complemented by 24-hour call coverage. The physician will be responsible for rounding on the Labor and Delivery floor while on call, managing clinical patients, and conducting consults, ensuring a quick response time and seeing 8-10 patients daily in the clinic.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Rounding on the Labor and Delivery floor while on call.
  • Manage Monday through Friday clinical patients and consults.
  • Maintain quick response time while on call.
  • See 8-10 patients daily at the clinic.
  • Perform regular deliveries and C-sections.
  • Handle ectopic pregnancies, when necessary.
  • Conduct patient consults for a full scope of OB GYN cases.
  • Perform annual well-woman exams, including Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.
  • Manage menstrual disorders such as heavy bleeding or irregular cycles.
  • Provide contraception management, including pills, IUD insertion/removal, and implants.
  • Offer menopause management.
  • Conduct prenatal visits, including labs and ultrasounds.
  • Perform routine prenatal visits, monitoring maternal and fetal health.


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
