Job Description

We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a 30-day assignment in California, commencing Sep 26, 2026. This role involves providing 24-hour call coverage for inpatient services, managing a high volume of triages and deliveries, including C-sections and GYN surgeries, often as the primary OB on call.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24-hour in-house or out-of-house call coverage.
  • Manage 7-18 triages daily.
  • Perform 1-7 deliveries and C-sections per day, with an average of 3.
  • Handle high-volume cases as the sole OB on call, serving the district's only labor and delivery facility.
  • Collaborate with another OB on call for coverage during assigned dates.
  • Manage inpatient calls for vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and GYN surgeries.
  • Care for a diverse patient population, including a high Hispanic demographic, in an environment with a 32% C-section rate.
