Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Colorado

We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician for a 28-day assignment with our client in Colorado. This role requires 3 weeks of coverage, including weeknight call from Monday through Thursday (5 PM - 7 AM) and weekend call from Friday (5 PM) to Monday (7 AM). The physician will manage high and low-risk deliveries, perform FHR interpretation, handle routine and complicated deliveries, and conduct various Gyn surgeries.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform high and low-risk deliveries.
• Interpret Fetal Heart Rate (FHR) including NST, CST, and FSE.
• Manage routine deliveries, including vaginal, low forceps, and C-section decision making.
• Handle complicated deliveries such as C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions.
• Conduct VBACs.
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
• Execute Gyn surgeries including for ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOAs.

• Staffing Mix: Fully staffed hospital with Labor and Delivery RNs and an Obstetric Emergency Department (OB ED) at UCHealth Birth Center - Memorial Hospital North.
