Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Indiana

We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician for a 120-day assignment in Indiana, starting Jul 1, 2024. The role involves flexible shifts, including 12-hour weekday nights and 24-hour weekend shifts, with an aim for 10 shifts per month. Responsibilities include managing obstetrical and gynecological patients, Emergency Department consultations, labor and delivery, admissions, and inpatient care, with a primary focus on in-house call coverage, and potential for clinic assistance.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage obstetrical patients, gynecologic patients, and Emergency Department consultations.
• Oversee labor and delivery, admissions, and inpatient care.
• Provide in-house call coverage.
• Perform clinic coverage as needed to support outpatient access.
• Manage low risk and high risk pregnancies.
• Interpret FHR (NST/CST/FSE) and perform amniocentesis.
• Execute routine deliveries, including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for C-section.
• Handle complicated deliveries, including C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs.
• Perform repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations.
• Conduct office/minor gynecology procedures such as IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP.
• Engage in surgical gynecology, including open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only (tubal ligation, LOAs, chronal tubation), and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs).
