Our client in Kentucky seeks a dedicated OB/GYN Physician for a 7-day assignment beginning Oct 16, 2024. This role involves 24-hour shifts covering specific dates from October 16-19 and 23-25. The Physician will provide 24-hour OB call coverage, manage patients within a 17-bed Birthing Center, and oversee approximately 30-40 births per month in an inpatient setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform 24-hour OB call coverage.
Provide comprehensive care within a 17-bed Birthing Center supported by cross-trained nurses for labor/delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
Utilize 18 exam rooms and 2 procedure rooms for patient care.
Oversee approximately 30-40 births per month.
Additional Information
Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
This is an Inpatient setting.
Call schedule involves Out of House Call.
Average patient volume is 8 patients per day.
LOA: 7 Days.
