Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in KY

Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 7-day assignment in Kentucky, starting Oct 16, 2026. This role involves providing 24-hour OB call coverage, managing labor/delivery, postpartum, and newborn care for patients within our client's birthing center.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour OB call coverage.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage obstetric and gynecological patients.
• Develop and oversee treatment plans relevant to obstetrics and gynecology.
• Review laboratory results, imaging, and pathology reports pertinent to patient care.
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits as required.
• Manage labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care within a Birthing Center.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Inpatient setting within a Birthing Center, supported by cross-trained nurses.
• Call schedule includes 24-hour shifts for OB call coverage.
