Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Mississippi

We are seeking a board-certified Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for a 36-day assignment in Mississippi. This role offers sporadic weekend shifts, with advanced notice typically 2-3 months prior. The Physician will cover OB/ED, including labor and delivery, handling GYN emergencies in the emergency department, and managing an average of 12 deliveries weekly.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage OB/ED patients, including labor and delivery
• Address GYN emergencies within the emergency department
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections
• Conduct OB ultrasounds, including performance and interpretation
• Execute minor gynecology procedures such as IUD insertions, cystoscopies, colposcopies, cryosurgeries, and LEEPs
• Manage an average of 12 deliveries per week
• Provide 24-hour in-house ED call, with a maximum of 48 consecutive hours
