Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Maryland

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an engaging 31-day assignment in Maryland, starting Oct 31, 2023. This role requires 24-hour in-house coverage, with shifts scheduled from 7a to 7a. The physician will provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including managing deliveries, performing C-sections, and handling gynecology procedures presenting to the emergency department, while adhering to a strict policy against working consecutive 24-hour shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour in-house OB/GYN coverage, ensuring compliance with the no consecutive 24-hour shift policy.
• Manage deliveries and C-sections, noting that the facility has a very low C-section rate.
• Cover gynecology procedures presenting to the emergency department, including seeing patients, although the volume is typically low.
