Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in New York

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for an engaging 42-day assignment in New York. This role offers Monday-Friday clinic work with a flexible schedule, requiring a minimum of one week per month. Responsibilities include comprehensive outpatient GYN care, such as well-woman exams, birth control management, and IUD insertion/removal, with preferred GYN surgery on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive outpatient GYN care in a Monday-Friday clinic setting.
• Manage typical office coverage from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, supported by an LPN, reception, and office manager.
• Perform GYN surgery on Tuesdays and Fridays (preferred, but not required).
• Conduct well-woman exams, birth control management, and IUD insertion/removal.
• Adhere to a less than 30% C-Section rate for the program.
• Manage deliveries up to 36 weeks, with high-risk deliveries referred to the main campus in Rochester.

• Staffing Mix: Anesthesia reports within 30 minutes; team includes 1 OBGYN, 1 FM/OB, and 2 CNMW; subspecialty backup available; complex cases can be transferred to a sister facility.
