Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in OR

Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 100-day assignment in Oregon, commencing Jan 15, 2027. This role involves 4 days of weekly clinic practice, complemented by 1-2 nights of weekday call and weekend call coverage from Friday 7a to Monday 7a, focusing on a comprehensive range of OB/GYN procedures and deliveries.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform IUD removal/insertion and Nexplanon procedures.
• Conduct Colposcopy, LEEP, and Endometrial Biopsy.
• Manage Pessary fitting/insertion and other appropriate excisions/biopsies for OB/GYN care.
• Provide routine OB and GYN care.
• Assess Non-stress test strips.
• Handle in-house call for Obstetrics and deliveries.
• Perform vaginal deliveries, assisted vaginal deliveries, and Cesarean sections.
• Conduct Cerclages, D+Cs, D+Es, and pregnancy termination inductions.
• Be prepared for high-risk deliveries, with support from additional providers and neonatologists as needed for nursery cases.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
• EMR: Epic.
• Work setting combines clinic-based care with inpatient call responsibilities.
• Call schedule includes 1-2 nights per week and weekend call from Friday 7a to Monday 7a.
