Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Washington

We are seeking a highly skilled OB/GYN Physician to support our client in Washington, with an assignment for a 9-day duration. This crucial role involves providing 24-hour OB Primary coverage, including rounding on the nursery, managing high and low-risk deliveries, and performing C-sections with general surgery assistance, during specific dates in November and December.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour OB Primary coverage
• Round on Nursery patients
• Manage high and low-risk deliveries
• Perform C-Sections, with general surgery available for assistance
• Round on acute care patients, if applicable
• Admit patients
• Perform Hysterectomies

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine Obstetrics or Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• EMR: Cerner
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: Out of house call, 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM
• Patient Volume: Approximately 3-5 deliveries per month
• LOA: 9 Days
• Staffing Mix: 1 Hospitalist Physician, 1 NP, ER MD and NP, CRNA
