Job Description

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant for a 45-day assignment in Arkansas, set to begin on Aug 3, 2026. This role involves working 7am - 5:30pm shifts, with responsibilities including ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting pre-employment physicals, and managing various cases such as wound and injury care, suturing, medication management, and drug screenings.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Perform pre-employment physicals
  • Provide wound care
  • Deliver injury care, including some suturing
  • Utilize in-house formulary and manage medications as required, including inventory control
  • Conduct drug screens
  • Address work site injuries
  • Manage minor injury care
  • Treat personal sickness cases
  • Evaluate and treat strains, muscle pulls, and lacerations
  • Remove foreign bodies in the eye
  • Address concrete burns and soft tissue injuries
