Locum Tenens Physician - Occupational Medicine Needed in AZ

Job Description

Our client in Arizona is seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine Physician for a 60-day assignment beginning Sep 14, 2026. This role involves managing an established patient panel primarily composed of workman's comp cases and providing supervision to multiple advanced practice providers. The schedule is a consistent 8-hour day, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Take over an existing patient panel of workman's compensation cases.
• Supervise multiple advanced practice providers.
• Evaluate and manage common occupational musculoskeletal injuries of the neck, back, and upper and lower extremities.
• Address work-related head injuries with or without loss of consciousness, assuming the individual is currently conscious and alert.
• Manage work-related chest or abdomen injuries, with the possibility of hernias.
• Treat work-related lacerations of the face and extremities which do not impair function or sensation.
• Handle work-related foreign bodies to the eye, and other non-penetrating eye injuries or conditions of the eye that do not affect vision.
• Manage work-related rashes and other occupational skin conditions.
• Address occupational asthma and other work-related respiratory symptoms.
• Perform DOT physicals.
