Job Description

We are seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician for a 2-day assignment starting Aug 7, 2026, in Colorado. This role involves a standard 8-hour workday, focusing on performing DOT physicals, evaluating and treating workplace injuries, conducting pre-employment examinations, and managing a variety of occupational medicine cases. The successful candidate will provide essential healthcare services, ensuring compliance and patient well-being within an occupational health setting.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform DOT physicals and FMCSA certifications.
  • Evaluate, treat, and manage workplace injuries.
  • Conduct workers’ compensation follow-ups and provide return-to-work clearances.
  • Execute pre-employment and fit-for-duty examinations.
  • Complete necessary employer and DOT documentation.
  • Manage basic urgent care and occupational medicine visits.
  • Address common occupational musculoskeletal injuries of the neck, back, and extremities.
  • Assess work-related head injuries without loss of consciousness, assuming the individual is conscious and alert.
  • Manage work-related injuries to the chest or abdomen, including potential hernias.
  • Treat work-related lacerations of the face and extremities that do not impair function or sensation.
  • Handle work-related foreign bodies to the eye and other non-penetrating eye injuries or conditions not affecting vision.
  • Diagnose and treat work-related rashes and occupational skin conditions.
  • Manage occupational asthma and other work-related respiratory symptoms.
