Locum Tenens Physician - Occupational Medicine Needed in Michigan

We are seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment in Michigan. This role involves a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, splitting time across clinics. The Physician will perform clinical duties including physicals, injury follow-ups, DOT physicals, and take on a medical director role, supervising Advanced Practice Providers.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including reviewing notes for diagnosis and OSHA reportable incidents.
• Implement and improve clinical processes.
• Conduct regular meetings with APPs.
• Contribute to business growth and assume a medical director role.
• Perform various clinical duties including physicals, injury follow-ups, and DOT physicals.
• Administer PFTs (Pulmonary Function Tests) and audios.
• Perform suturing.
• Handle no call responsibilities.

• Staffing Mix: The team includes two Physicians, one full-time and one working two days per week, along with five Advanced Practice Providers working between 10-40 hours per week and Medical Assistants.
