Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Oncology - Medical Needed in MA

Job Description

Our client in Massachusetts is actively seeking an Oncology Physician Assistant for a dynamic 60-day assignment, commencing Aug 10, 2026. This vital role involves managing new patient consults and follow-ups, operating within an outpatient clinic and infusion center, typically working 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM shifts, and handling a diverse caseload primarily focused on oncology and hematology patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform New Patient Consults
• Conduct Follow-ups
• Work within an Outpatient clinic and infusion center
• Manage a caseload of 90% Oncology and 10% Hematology
• Provide Chemotherapy supervision/orders
• Handle Central line management, including Port-a-Cath and PICC line care
• Manage oncologic emergencies, such as tumor lysis syndrome, spinal cord compression, and neutropenic fever
