Locum Tenens Physician - Oncology - Medical Needed in Missouri

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Oncologist for a 39-day assignment in Missouri. This outpatient opportunity involves providing comprehensive medical oncology care, managing approximately 15 patients daily, including new consults, and participating in weekly tumor boards. The schedule is three days per week, Wednesday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive medical oncology care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately 15 patients per day, including 3-5 new consultations.
• Attend and participate in tumor boards on Wednesdays.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Additional Information

• Board certifications: Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• EMR: Cerner and Powerchart.
• Setting: 100% Outpatient (Clinic Only).
• Call schedule: No call required.
• Patient volume: Approximately 15 patients per day.
• LOA: 39 days.
• Staffing mix: The locum will join a team of 8 physicians and 7 APPs, supported by 7 RNs, 1 LPN, and 1 care tech. Other hematologists/oncologists and radiation oncologists will be present.
