Locum Tenens Physician - Oncology - Medical Needed in Wisconsin

We are seeking a Medical Oncology Physician for a 195-day assignment in Wisconsin. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This role involves managing a mixed caseload of oncology and hematology patients, including new consults and follow-ups, with potential inpatient rounding.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a mixed caseload of oncology and hematology patients (85% oncology, 15% hematology), including new consults and follow-ups.
• Oversee patient cases including breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, pancreatic, gynecologic, head & neck, melanoma, lymphoma, leukemias, multiple myeloma, MDS, and benign hematology.
• Order and manage chemotherapy (IV/oral) and its toxicities.
• Provide oversight for immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy.
• Perform bone marrow biopsies/aspirations.
• Manage central lines (Port-a-Cath, PICC).
• Handle oncologic emergencies.
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case reviews.
• Administer growth factor support and blood transfusions.
• Potential for inpatient rounding.
