Locum Tenens Physician - Optometrist Needed in Maryland

Our client in Maryland is actively seeking a skilled Optometrist for a 120-day assignment. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts daily. The Optometrist will provide comprehensive medical optometry services, focusing on preliminary evaluations for surgical procedures, glaucoma and cataract management, post-operative care, dry eye treatment, and medication prescribing.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform preliminary evaluations to confirm patient suitability for surgical procedures.
• Manage glaucoma and cataracts.
• Conduct post-operative evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat dry eye conditions.
• Prescribe necessary medications.
• Review and sign off on refractions performed by technicians.
