We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist for a 240-day assignment in Ohio. The schedule involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with Fridays ending at 1:00pm or 2:00pm, and one Saturday per month from 8:00am to 1:00pm. In this rural primary-care setting, you will manage a mix of routine exams, medical visits, red eyes, and follow-up care, typically seeing 18 to 20 patients daily.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct comprehensive and routine eye exams
Perform red eye evaluations and manage acute red-eye presentations
Provide follow-up examinations and post-operative surgical follow-ups
Perform dry eye evaluations and management for ocular surface cases
Conduct contact lens examinations and fittings
Provide glasses/refraction services
Perform general ocular health evaluations
Administer pre- and post-operative eye care, including cataract post-operative follow-ups
Evaluate and manage glaucoma
Perform cataract evaluations
Manage medical visits
