Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Orthopedics Needed in California

We are seeking an Orthopedics Physician Assistant for a 120-day assignment in California. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on outpatient orthopedic surgery clinic duties. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with various bone, joint, muscle, ligament, and tendon conditions, conducting consultations, and managing pre and post-operative care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care in an outpatient orthopedic surgery clinic
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with bone, joint, muscle, ligament, and tendon conditions
• Conduct patient consultations
• Perform pre and post-operative care

• Board Certifications: Family Medicine
• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Call Schedule: No Call
• Patients per day: 20 PPD
• LOA: 120 days
• Staffing Mix: Locum would have a dedicated LVN; 6 other PAs and 5+ MDs in department; Connected to Podiatry department
