Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Otolaryngology/ENT Needed in California

We are seeking an Otolaryngology/ENT Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in California. This role involves a Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM schedule, focusing on managing follow-up appointments and outpatient visits for ENT, Otolaryngology, and Head and Neck patients, easing the workload for surgeons and physicians. The practitioner will handle a variety of ENT outpatient cases, including return visits, follow-ups, and specialized TMJ work.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage follow-up appointments and outpatient visits for ENT, Otolaryngology, and Head and Neck patients.
• Focus on cases to alleviate workload from surgeons and physicians.
• See all ENT outpatient cases.
• Conduct return visits and follow-ups for HNS/ENT.
• Perform TMJ work, including TMJ botox.
• Address cases related to ear tubes, thyroid, and parathyroid.
• Potentially assist in a lump and bump clinic on a part-time basis.

Additional Information

• EMR: Epic
• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience in all ENT outpatient cases required.
• Must have TMJ experience, including TMJ botox, ear tube, thyroid, and parathyroid cases.
• Setting: Outpatient with out-of-house call requirements.
• Patients per day: 15-20
• LOA: 60 days
• Staffing Mix: 2+ Physicians, 1+ Advanced Practice Provider, full support staff of MAs and RNs.
