Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Otology/Neurotology Physician for a 240-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Washington, starting Sep 28, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule, where you will perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing tests for patients of all ages, interpret results, and provide recommendations for follow-up care, hearing aids, and ear protection, including fitting and maintenance.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform diagnostic hearing tests including pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry, and impedance audiometry for patients from birth to seniors
  • Interpret test results for patients and physicians, making recommendations regarding the need for medical follow-up, hearing aids, and ear protection
  • Conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine the most appropriate amplification, fit aids to the patient, and provide detailed instruction on operation and maintenance of the instruments
  • Provide routine maintenance and troubleshooting for hearing aids
  • Manage 16-20 patient encounters per shift
