Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Pain Management Physician to join our client's team in Maine. This 60-day assignment commences on Jan 4, 2027, with a consistent schedule from 8am to 5pm. The role primarily involves managing a diverse range of pain cases, including referrals for conditions such as bursitis, radiculopathy, degenerative disc disease, various joint pains, and post-surgical pain syndromes, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage cases involving Bursitis
• Address Cervical radiculopathy
• Treat Coccydynia
• Handle Complex regional pain syndrome
• Care for Degenerative disc disease
• Manage Herniated discs
• Treat Joint pain (Knee, shoulder, hip)
• Address Lateral epicondylitis (Tennis elbow)
• Manage Lower back pain
• Treat Medial epicondylitis (Golf elbow)
• Address Muscular trigger points
• Manage Neck pain
• Care for Osteoarthritis of hip, knee or spine
• Treat Peripheral neuropathy (e.g. intercostal, occipital, ulnar, femoral, peroneal, meralgia paresthetica)
• Address Piriformis syndrome
• Manage Post laminectomy syndrome
• Care for Post spinal fusion pain
• Treat Rib fractures
• Address Rotator cuff injuries/tears/syndrome
• Manage Sacroiliitis
• Treat Sciatica
• Care for Shingles/Post-herpetic neuralgia pain
• Address Spinal stenosis
• Manage Spondylolisthesis
• Treat Spondylosis
• Care for Sports injuries
• Perform Trigger point injections

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Pain Management required.
• Experience with Meditech EHR system.
