Locum Tenens Physician - Pathologist Needed in NC

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pathologist for a 120-day assignment in North Carolina, commencing Nov 16, 2026. The Physician will be responsible for full-time, day shifts from 8am-5pm, handling a diverse range of inpatient and outpatient duties. These responsibilities include the analysis of blood smears, body fluids, bone marrow, lymph nodes, extranodal lymphoma, and flow cytometry sign-out, supporting our client's comprehensive diagnostic services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform analysis of blood smears
• Analyze body fluids
• Conduct bone marrow examinations
• Evaluate lymph node specimens
• Interpret extranodal lymphoma cases
• Sign out flow cytometry results

Additional Information

• Board certification in Hematopathology is required.
• EMR System: Epic
• Work setting includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
