Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician for a 35-day assignment in California, starting Aug 1, 2026. The incoming physician will administer anesthesia to pediatric patients, monitor vital signs, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate medical records to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures.
  • Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Provide full scope pediatric anesthesia, including neonates and children under 2.
  • Manage all cardiac cases and pediatric surgical cases.
  • Work within a stand-alone children hospital environment, including NICU and PICU units.
  • Perform non-OR/diagnostic procedures.
  • Participate in pain management and critical care.

  • Physicians must be prepared to work collaboratively within a team; independent practice is not available for this role.
