Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiology Physician Assistant for a 90-day assignment in New York, commencing Dec 14, 2026. The client requires coverage for standard three, 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This vital role involves providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients aged 0-18 with various heart conditions, including those pre and post-transplant, heart failure, and congenital heart disease, within a well-supported environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients (0-18 years old) with heart conditions.
• Manage cases involving pre and post-transplant care, heart failure, and congenital heart disease.
• Collaborate effectively with residents, cardiology fellows, ICU fellows, and attending physicians.
• Utilize immediate escalation protocols for complex patient needs.
• Work overnight shifts to ensure continuous patient support.

• Patients seen: Pre and post-transplant, heart failure, and heart disease patients aged 0-18.
• Shift schedule: Standard three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Support staff: Resident on staff overnight, in-house cardiology fellow, ICU fellow and attendee, and at-home cardiology attendee support.
