Locum Tenens Physician - Pediatric Cardiologist Needed in PA

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Cardiologist for an exciting 90-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing Oct 19, 2026. This full-time role involves an 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday clinic schedule, supplemented by night and weekend call responsibilities. The physician will manage outpatient clinic duties, inpatient call, admissions, rounding, and interpretation of diagnostic tests within a Trauma hospital.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Manage inpatient call responsibilities.
• Respond to calls within a 20-minute timeframe.
• Conduct 0-2 phone consults per day.
• See 0-2 patients per day.
• Handle 0-2 admissions per day.
• Perform admissions and rounding.
• Interpret X-rays and EKGs.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Pediatric Cardiology is required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system.
• Work within a Trauma Hospital.
• Night and weekend call from 5 PM Friday to 7 AM Monday.
• Option for a full-time schedule or a 2-on/2-off rotation with another locum.
