Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Needed in West Virginia

Our client in West Virginia is actively seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 72-day assignment. This role involves 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am shifts, with duties including patient rounding, bedside consults, documentation, and participation in team conferences and shift handoffs to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform rounding and patient checkouts.
• Conduct bedside consults.
• Accurately take notes and manage orders.
• Participate in conferencing with other providers in the unit.
• Execute smooth handoffs between day and night shifts.

• Board Certifications: Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: No call required
• Patients per day: 8-13
• LOA: 72 Days
• Staffing Mix: 2 APPs during the day, 1 APP at night, with MAs and nursing staff available each shift.
