Locum Tenens Dentist - CT Needed in Connecticut

We are seeking a Pediatric Dentistry Dentist for a 62-day assignment in Connecticut. This role primarily entails a Monday through Thursday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with some additional Friday and Saturday coverage. The selected candidate will focus on 90% hygiene checks, restorative care, extractions, stainless steel/composite crowns, and emergency visits.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform 90% hygiene checks
• Provide restorative care
• Perform extractions
• Place stainless steel and composite crowns
• Manage emergency visits
• Handle basic wire checks and changes (no new case starts expected)
• Deliver strong customer service
• Treat special needs patients

Additional Information

• EMR: Curve & Greyfinch (cloud-based systems)
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patients per day: Approximately 60 patients, ranging from 40 on light days to 80 on busy days, with about 90% focusing on hygiene checks.
• LOA: 62 Days
• Staffing Mix: Clinical support includes 8 Hygienists cross-trained as Dental Assistants (DAs).
