Job Description

Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Neurological Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day assignment starting Sep 7, 2026. This role involves a 3-day work week with 13-hour day shifts, from 6:00 to 19:00, primarily focused on inpatient neurosurgery. You will be responsible for rounding, managing patient orders, reviewing cases, and facilitating discharges, focusing exclusively on patient care outside of the operating room.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Start the day rounding with residents and establishing patient plans.
  • Review and input patient orders effectively.
  • Evaluate and provide care for patients as needed.
  • Manage patient discharges efficiently.
  • Provide patient care exclusively; operating room duties are handled by residents, with no APP involvement in the OR.
