Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner for a 15-day assignment in TX, starting Sep 28, 2026. This role involves 7a-8p and 7p-8a shifts, providing multidisciplinary care for pediatric patients with neuro-rehabilitation, pulmonary, and feeding disorders, including ventilator and tracheostomy management, within an inpatient setting.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide multidisciplinary care for children with neuro-rehabilitation needs, pulmonary disorders, and feeding disorders.
  • Manage complex medical cases, including ventilator and tracheostomy support for chronic pulmonary patients.
  • Collaborate with a comprehensive team including physicians, nurses, therapists, respiratory therapists, dietitians, child life specialists, and social workers.
  • Focus on family education and successful transition to home for patients requiring intensive rehabilitation and transitional care.
  • Manage non-invasive BiPAP therapy and trach/vent systems.
  • Operate within a basic floor-care model, without procedural involvement or outpatient expectations.
