We are seeking a skilled Pediatrician for a 120-day assignment in Arizona. This role features a dynamic schedule, including 4-5 weeks of Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM outpatient clinic work, followed by a 1-week inpatient rotation. The inpatient week runs Tuesday–Monday and includes Friday & Saturday overnight call, along with weeknight (5 PM–8 AM) and 24-hour weekend call. This Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient pediatric care, encompassing newborn care, ED consultations, and delivery coverage.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide a mix of outpatient pediatrics, inpatient care, newborn care, ED consultation, and delivery coverage.
Manage common outpatient pediatric cases such as cold, cough, flu, respiratory issues, minor injuries, physicals, vaccinations, and medication management.
Assist with determining appropriate transfers to outside facilities when higher-level care is needed.
Oversee a 12-bed pediatric care unit and newborn/L&D unit, admitting typical pediatric conditions like neonatal fever, UTIs, dehydration, SSTIs, asthma exacerbations, and pneumonia.
Support nurse triage and coordinate follow-up for patients transferred to outside hospitals or NICUs.

Setting: Clinic and Call
Call Schedule: Out of House Call; includes Friday & Saturday overnight call during inpatient weeks, weeknight call (5 PM–8 AM), and 24-hour weekend call.
Patient Volume: Outpatient: 17-20 patients per day.
